Since the beginning of 2017/18 MY, Ukraine has exported almost 3.67 million tons of oilseeds.
Such data are given by the Department of Phytosanitary Security, Control in Seed Production and Seedling of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Department’s statement said.
As noted, over 2 million tons of rapeseed and over 1.6 million tons of soybeans were delivered to foreign markets. As of the same date last year, the export of oilseeds was almost 2.48 million tons (including rapeseed – 0.9 million tons, soybean – 1.5 million tons).
According to the State Procurement Service, grain exports for the reporting period amounted to 22.8 million tons of grain crops, in particular, 11.7 million tons of wheat (including 6.4 million tons of food-grade wheat, 5.3 million tons of fodder wheat), 3.8 million tons of barley,6.7 million tons of maize.
Over the same period last marketing year, 25.2 million tons of grain were exported, including almost 12.3 million tons of wheat (including 7.3 million tons of food-grade wheat and 5 million tons of fodder wheat), over 4.4 million tons of barley, 8 million tons of maize).
