Ukraine and Russia Agree on Resumption of Transit Transportation since February 25

Ukraine has accepted the proposal of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation to resume transit transportation since the night on February 25 as declared by Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, as of February 24.

In turn, Andriy Pyvovarsky, the Minister of Infrastructure, added that Russia and Poland also agreed to exchange quotas for cargo transportation. If Ukraine does unlock the transit, it will lose the transit cargo flows.

Also, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation published a similar announcement on its website.
